It was first released in [[Japan]] in [[2006]] and then in North America, Europe, and Australia in [[2007]]. The game was developedported by [[TOSE]] and published by [[Square Enix]] in Japan and by [[Nintendo]] in other countries. ''Final Fantasy VI Advance'' is the last game that Nintendo published for the Game Boy Advance. It was later ported to the [[Wii U]] [[Virtual Console]] in [[2015]], exclusively in Japan.
