The '''Internet Channel''' is one of the free-of-charge downloadable [[Wii Channel]]s from the [[Wii Shop Channel]]. As the title suggests, the Internet Channel is used for browsing the Internet. The Internet Channel was initially free, but since June 30, [[2007]], users had to pay 500 [[Wii Point]]s to download the Internet Channel.
In August [[2009]], Nintendo made the Internet Channel free once again. All users who had already downloaded the channel for 500 Wii Points were offered a free [[Nintendo Entertainment System]] game from the [[Virtual Console (Wii)|Virtual Console]], starting October 2009.
