Paper Mario: Sticker Star is a role-playing video game developed by Intelligent Systems and published by Nintendo for the Nintendo 3DS. It was released in 2012, and it is the fourth installment in the Paper Mario series.

Unlike the previous games in the series, Sticker Star incorporates a paper theme, where everything in the game appears to be made from paper and looks two-dimensional. The story follows Mario as he embarks on a quest to retrieve the six Royal Stickers and rescue Princess Peach after Bowser scatters them across the Mushroom Kingdom.

The gameplay mechanics are unique in Sticker Star. Instead of traditional RPG battles, the player collects and uses stickers as their main attack method. Stickers can be found or bought throughout the game and are categorized into different types, each with its own abilities. The game focuses heavily on sticker management, as the player must carefully choose when and where to use stickers to progress.
