Nate Bihldorff is a senior localization manager and producer of the Treehouse, the localization division of Nintendo of America. He is best known for voicing Shy Guy in the Mario games, and has also voiced Dr. Wright in the Super Smash Bros. series.

Bihldorff graduated from University of Pennsylvania in 1998 with a degree in English with concentration in creative writing.[1] Bihldorff first worked for Nintendo as a video game tester on The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, and later worked at Nintendo Power.[2] He initially declined the offer to work full-time for Nintendo Treehouse, but following a near-death experience during snowboarding in Vermont he called Nintendo and accepted the job.[1]

Bihldorff's first project was writing the English text for Paper Mario, which was released for the Nintendo 64 in 2001.[3]
