A built in feature of the Wii is the Virtual Console Gamesgames are available to be downloaded (for a price) from previous systems including the [[TurboGrafx-16]], [[Sega Genesis]], [[Nintendo Entertainment System]], [[Super Nintendo Entertainment System]], [[Nintendo 64]] and [[Neo-Geo]]. The Wii Remote is also designed so, when turned on its side, closely resembles an Nintendo Entertainment System controller. The games were priced between $5 to $10 USD prior to the [[Wii Shop Channel]]'s closure on January 30, 2019. The Wii has a controller named the [[Classic Controller]], which is designed to have compatibility with all Virtual Console games.
