Thank you for helping out here, I really appreciate it. :) Excuse all the articles that are derived from Wikipedia, the Super Mario Wiki, even Nintendo Wiki on Fandom (the latter two are ok with reuse & license allows if attributed) as it's already difficult enough to build a wiki from the ground up. Common.css

Okay I checked your common.css and previewed it on mine (which I've not created yet though). I think it looks good, although as I've said in the forums, the wiki itself is sticking to Verdana as its intent is to reflect how old school wikis used to look (i.e. from mid & late 00s). Welcome back to the wiki. You're doing a good job on these Etrian Odyssey pages. Are you ok that I made some adjustments to some of the templates (like removing box shadow, adding border)? It's just to reflect the barebones aesthetic of the wiki. Bawitdaba (talk) 20:04, October 10, 2022 (UTC)

Congrats! I will tell you that, while you're welcome to make templates, don't try to tamper with the styling of the wikis, namely templates that I've made (i know you prefer adding more intricate coding like box shadows & so forth) as the wiki has been set up to have a classic fansite aesthetic. I saw you restored some of the Monster bestiary templates -- that's fine for the meantime, but once more templates like {{EII enemy stats}} are made, we'll probably have to remove those. reverted

I reverted your changes to GlobalStyle.css because it made a sitewide change to the font & as someone running this wiki I decided on standard Verdana for a reason (I've explained this before). There's a Nintendo font gadget that I've added (adds the Wii U browser font) several months ago. What's the difference between that and the font that you added just now? The code I added on Friday was Verdana Pro, a refined version of the standard Verdana. Verdana Pro is basically the same as the standard Verdana, but Verdana Pro takes it further enhance your experience with 374 glyphs compared to standard Verdana’s 229 glyphs. I do see your point about Android though. The wiki's use of Verdana is mainly intended to be for desktop (which I almost always use while contributing in any case). To bring up a point about disagreements, no two people can agree on every same thing (for instance, you and I don't agree on this wiki's styling) but then there's someone else who might disagree with both of us. In the end, wikis are about presenting information. I just happened to adopt this wiki first & set up the styling and policies here & have reasons for doing so. Similarly, you got Googlepedia and Etrian Wiki first, so it would be unfair of me to try and enforce my preferences for the wiki (although I could make suggestions, like when I suggested hiding the Main Page titles).
