Donkey Kong Country 3 is a Game Boy Advance title serving as a remake of the Super Nintendo Entertainment System title Donkey Kong Country 3: Dixie Kong's Double Trouble!. It is the third and final Donkey Kong Country series title for the system, following after the releases of Donkey Kong Country and Donkey Kong Country 2. Like the two previous titles, Donkey Kong Country 3 was developed by Rare Ltd. and published by Nintendo. It was released in late 2005.
Like the two previous titles, Donkey Kong Country 3 has a few minigames that are not in the original version. It is more notable for adding another world, Pacifica, and featuring an entirely different soundtrack composed by David Wise. Donkey Kong Country 3 does not retain its Dixie Kong's Double Trouble! subtitle of the original version like how the previous remake, Donkey Kong Country 2, does not retain the Diddy's Kong Quest subtitle.
