I came back after a short break and revealed (as viewed on my iPad) that the typeface was changed from Helvetica to Verdana, which both fonts are not relevant to Nintendo system fonts. I would appreciate it if the admins can change the font from Verdana to nintendo_NTLG-DB_001 so it will be more consistent with Nintendo products. nintendo_NTLG-DB_001 is the system font for Wii, 3DS and Wii U.

This would be:

font-family: nintendo_NTLG-DB_001, Verdana, Helvetica Neue, Arial, sans-serif !important;

However, to set up this font, admins will have to add the following:

to the top of the sitewide CSS page, just below the @import code.

I would really appreciate this wiki if the admins can change the font from Verdana to nintendo_NTLG-DB_001.

I'd prefer if we stick with Verdana. It's actually based on the classic Super Mario Wiki appearance (e.g. see this link) as this wiki is meant to be a throwback to classic-style wikis from the 00s, esp the aforementioned wiki (i'd use nintendowiki.com domain if i could lol), and not on any particular product. Another thing to note is that Verdana helps better emphasize that this is a fansite as far as I know. That being said, I think you could add that into your own common.css if you want. If I am possible to view this wiki on Internet Browser on 3DS or Wii U and bypassing the SSL connection error, this typeface would be nintendo_NTLG-DB_001 (the system font used) as Verdana, Helvetica or Arial are not installed on 3DS or Wii U, so it will be fair to change the typeface on this wiki to nintendo_NTLG-DB_001, as I said yesterday, I would appreciate if admins did this. Okay, it should now be a checkable option in Special:Preferences. I can delete your common.css if you'd like as I simply copied it over into a gadget CSS page. I'll see about making a sitenotice as well to inform others about the gadget. The fonts load slowly, so I wonder if Miraheze can add them into this wiki's internal directories per request Bawitdaba (talk) 14:23, May 10, 2022 (UTC)
