The Fun, Funky, and Functional Monty Mole is a Monty Mole shopkeeper who appears in Paper Mario: The Origami King. They are similar to the Fun, Funky, and Functional Toads and Fun, Funky, and Functional Snifits, in-which they sell accessories to Mario. They resemble an ordinary Monty Mole, but they carry a large brown bag with various items on their back.

The Fun, Funky, and Functional Monty Mole appears in a shop found in Breezy Tunnel, alongside another Monty Mole who sells shiny items. The Fun, Funky, and Functional Monty Mole sells the Treasure Alert and Silver Time Plus, thanking Mario when he purchases the items like other character shopkeepers. Unlike his Toad and Snifit counterparts, the Fun, Funky, and Functional Monty Mole only makes one appearance rather than several.

In the final cutscene, the Fun, Funky, and Functional Monty Mole can be seen chatting with a Fun, Funky, and Functional Toad and Snifit.

Trivia[edit]

  • The files of Paper Mario: The Origami King feature walking animations for the Fun, Funky, and Functional Monty Mole suggesting that they would have moved around somewhere. However, these animations go unused as the Fun, Funky, and Functional Monty Mole just stays in one place.
