Metal Mawful Mole
Metal Mawful Moles are stronger, metallic variants of the Mawful Mole species in Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story and its Nintendo 3DS remake Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey, where they can be found exclusively in Peach's Castle Garden. Like their normal counterparts, Metal Mawful Moles will be crushed by Bowser if he walks on them in the overworld, but Mario and Luigi are able to fight them.
Metal Mawful Moles have the exact same attack patterns as their normal counterparts, with their higher stats being the only major difference. Interestingly enough, Metal Mawful Moles have less health than normal Mawful Moles despite being stronger variants of them (though their other stats are higher).
In the original Nintendo DS version, it is possible for Bowser to also fight Metal Mawful Moles via battling a specific Mechawful. Despite this, the Metal Mawful Mole does not attack, and retreats after one or two turns.
In Mario & Luigi: Bowser's Inside Story + Bowser Jr.'s Journey, Metal Mawful Moles were redesigned to be slightly more purplish instead of being dark gray like in the original. Additionally, they now take critical damage from hammer attacks. Metal Mawful Moles also had their HP slightly decreased.
